This role offers 20–25 hours per week with flexible daytime hours. A high school diploma and 6–12 months in a machine shop are required; CAD/CAM skills are preferred and training is provided in lab settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 6–12 months experience in machine shop environment.
• Must set up and operate manual/CNC milling and turning.
• Print reading and creation.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• CAD/CAM skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review material with students by discussing text and solving problems; provide feedback to students.
• Provide supplemental instruction to individual or small groups to improve performance.
• Organize tutoring environment to promote productivity and learning.
• Participate in training and development sessions to improve tutoring practices.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
