Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Metal Worker to support repair and manufacturing of aerospace components. You will use a variety of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments to meet quality specifications and customer requirements.

The role includes second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with a shift differential of $1-$3 per hour and a $500 sign-on bonus. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous metalworking, manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Metal Worker to support the repair and manufacturing of aerospace components through material removal, surface finishing, part modification, and production processing activities. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will use a variety of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality and customer specifications.

Shift: Monday-Friday (Days may fluctuate due to business needs, Monday-Sunday) | This role is available on our 2nd shift (evening shift), with typical hours of 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
Shift Differential: Employees on 2nd shift are eligible for a shift differential of $1-$3 per hour, based on the assigned workdays.
Sign On Bonus: $500

What You'll Be Doing

• Blend, finish, and modify metal components using hand tools and production equipment.
• Remove or apply material to achieve required specifications and surface finishes.

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, airborne particles, and production materials.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive use of hands and arms.
• Regular handling of parts, tools, and production equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated work areas.
• Ability to lift and move materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
