Job summary

Masterack, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co., is seeking a production operator to run coil press, single press, brake press, turret press, spot welder, benders, wire straightener, punch press and drill press to produce parts per specifications.

You will operate machinery according to the production schedule, inspect parts for proper dimensions, complete setup and scrap documentation, and strictly follow safety guidelines while communicating any problems to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in production is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
• Ability to read measuring tools is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery according to the production schedule.
• Inspects parts for proper dimensions using approved sample.
• Completes proper documentation (identify / label parts, set up records, scrap reports etc.).
• Adheres to all safety guidelines.
• Communicates any problems to the Group/Team Leader or Supervisor.
