Job description

Job Description:

• Dispatch technicians to job sites and monitor job progress.
• Maintain the technician scheduler and monitor GPS software on service trucks.
• Dispatch parts to technicians at job sites.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to maintain daily customer updates in the Cat Interact Program.
• Handle customer calls and document service requests for the field.
• Review and monitor technicians' daily productivity and weekly expense reports.
• Review and monitor weekly overtime reports.
• Promote and reinforce safety practices aligned with our mission to ensure employee and customer safety.
• Check repair history and open service letters for all jobs before starting work.
• Close service calls daily.
• Complete warranty checklists accurately and be accountable for their correctness.
• Schedule incoming machine repairs with the shop.
• Ensure technicians complete JHA forms, wear proper PPE, and keep service trucks clean daily.

Recommended Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance/repair supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
