- Draft, review, and edit diagnostic reports, initiating and responding to requests for changes and recommending improvements.
- Advise and modify report layouts to effectively present diagnostic data (graphs, charts, illustrations).
- Develop standard procedures for collecting and analyzing diagnostic data (vibration, electrical, kinetic).
- Select or recommend graphics (frequency spectra, waveforms, finite element models) to illustrate findings.
- Maintain and structure diagnostic data/reports using software platforms (e.g., Zendesk Guide, Paligo); own content and structure of diagnostic repositories.
- Support predictive maintenance initiatives and projects, partnering with engineering and operations leadership.
Strategic Functions
- Work with the Software/R&D Team to support the development of a strategic software platform providing reliable diagnostic tools for asset management.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to diagnostic methodologies, tools, and reporting formats (e.g., vibration reports, electrical signature outputs, FEA models).
- Oversee development and maintenance of diagnostic data repositories to ensure accessibility, usability, and compliance with standards, including diagnostic data management systems and document repositories (e.g., Zendesk, Paligo).
Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
