Job summary

Boom Supersonic in Denver, Colorado, seeks a Mechanical Engineer, Machined Parts to own modules of the Symphony engine from concept through test. You will bridge design, fabrication, and supply chain, turning concepts into hardware and simplifying interfaces across the process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• DFM/DFA intuition with a part-to-manufacture mindset.
• Hands-on experience turning a design into actual hardware in high-consequence environments.

Responsibilities

• Own a module of the engine from requirements through test.
• Drive design decisions to minimize part count and simplify assembly.
• Collaborate with in-house shop and external suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget.
• Integrate hardware onto test stands, run, break, fix, and iterate to the next revision.
• Raise the bar on everyone around you.
