Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machine welders for Group II alloys.
  • Verify welds using magnifiers and measurement tools.
  • Be qualified to AWS D 17.1 and QOP-62-02 standards.
  • Perform high-quality x-ray welds.
  • Perform rework and repairs as needed.
  • Weld fittings on tubing, ducts, tanks, etc.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years related experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and weld symbols.
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions.
  • Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

Tools and Materials:

  • Automatic and semi-automatic weld machines.
  • Ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.

Certifications:

  • Must have SSP machine welding certification.
  • Annual eye examination required.
