Qualifications

• Engineering majors with a Ph.D or master's degree in CS, CE, robotics, EE, or ME.
• PCB design and hardware experience with KiCad or DipTrace.
• Experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow and OpenCV or MATLAB for CV pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML image processing pipelines using Python/PyTorch in collaboration with NIST researchers.
• Build test rigs to capture 2D/3D PCB images and defective parts.
• Investigate effects of object properties and sensor settings on AI metrics.
• Write reports and deliver weekly progress presentations.
• Review literature and perform market research on related algorithms and hardware.
