Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Machine Validation and Installation Technician to lead validation, installation, and customer training for our surface enhancement systems. The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical systems and strong customer-facing communication.

You will travel to customer sites, perform acceptance tests, coordinate with project teams, and contribute to documentation and training materials to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine validation and installation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams and interacting with clients.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial machinery systems.
• CNC/PLC/ Industrial robot knowledge and proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and work independently.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and hold a US passport.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive validation test plans for machinery, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
• Lead customers through factory and site acceptance tests and manage punch lists.
• Travel to customer locations to lead installation and commissioning and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct customer training on machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• Develop and maintain validation and technical documentation.
• Support design reviews to identify issues related to validation and installation and propose improvements.
