Job summary

Phillips Corporation seeks an Onsite Machine Repair Specialist at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard to own the reliability of critical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on machine tools, interpret schematics, and calibrate equipment to maximize uptime.

You will also train customer teams, share best practices, and deliver data-backed insights through CRM reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing manual machine tools and CNC machinery.
• Strong electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience interpreting complex schematics and performing precision calibrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on complex machine tools.
• Interpret schematics, calibrate equipment and resolve PLC issues safely and efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customer maintenance teams.
• Maintain detailed, data-driven reports via CRM and internal platforms.

Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00 annually plus bonus opportunities. 5 or more years of experience installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing manual machine tools, fabrication equipment and CNC machinery from a variety of manufacturers

Electronical and electronic skills, including troubleshooting, lockout/tagout and PLC knowledge

Exceptional mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills

Microsoft office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word

CRM experience

Military or government experience is a plus
