Job summary

GableTek is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support a major machine tool automation project in Holland, MI. This contract position offers 8 openings and an immediate start, with roughly 50 hours per week and potential extension or direct hire based on performance.

Responsibilities include building and wiring custom automation equipment, troubleshooting control circuits, and wiring panels to customer specs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial electrical or machine tool wiring experience.
• Journeyman Electrician card preferred.
• Experience with machine wiring, industrial control panels, electrical troubleshooting, reading electrical schematics, NEC-compliant wiring practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire custom automation equipment according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Assemble electrical components and machine wiring to customer specifications.
• Install and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Wire control panels, field devices, motors, sensors, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical faults during machine build and startup.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and quality requirements.
• Document electrical changes and communicate issues with the project team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support project milestones while meeting quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
