Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. seeks a skilled Machine Technology Service Technician to service CAT Grade 2D/3D and other machine technology systems. You will diagnose, calibrate, and repair electrical and hydraulic components in the field, ensuring safety, accuracy, and operator satisfaction.

Responsibilities include commissioning systems at point of sale, installing software updates, and coordinating with parts and service teams. Requires 3+ years of industry experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-years industry experience.
• Knowledge of GPS machine control systems such as CAT Grade, Trimble, Topcon, and Leica.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret technical information—schematics, manuals, drawings, procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.
• Source and order parts as needed from internal parts department or external vendors.
• Perform installation and commissioning of machine technology systems.
• Perform software updates and calibrations on machine technology systems.
• Complete work orders and time sheets accurately and on time.
• Maintain safety standards and DOT compliance.
