Job summary

Warren Cat is hiring a Machine Technician II to deliver high-quality repair work on equipment, ensuring value and timely service for customers. You will diagnose, repair, test, and adjust machines, while following safety policies and company procedures.

Travel up to 20% is expected and ongoing training is required. Qualified candidates will have a GED or higher, tools and diagnostic software, and the ability to mentor team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 3–5 years related experience)
• In-depth knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, laptops, diagnostic software and cranes and rigging equipment
• Ability to provide accurate information to management for quoting
• Able to mentor Machine team members
• Must be able to obtain or currently possess adequate tooling to perform duties
• Must be at least 21 to operate field vehicle
• Must be certified prior to operating forklift and/or man lift; may require DOT physical; MSHA certification may be required
• Must be certified in air-conditioning; must be flexible to work various schedules including shift work, overtime and on call

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric
• Work safely and follow WCAT safety policies and procedures
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job accurately
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, provide repair recommendations, and perform critical machine and engine repairs
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
• Apply general failure analysis to determine proper diagnosis
• Adhere to all company policies
• Complete all Level I & II training in a timely manner
