Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking experienced Machine Technicians to operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyors. You will troubleshoot process issues and perform minor maintenance to keep production lines running while following GMPs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a machine operator with blow mold experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals; overtime work and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• 3+ years’ blow mold machine operation required.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required.
• Machine maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Physical stamina and strength/able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems.

• Follow GMPs and quality control procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin changes.
• Change colors efficiently with minimal product loss.
• Maintain outputs such as parisons, tail adjustments, regrind levels and weight controls.
• Run two production lines consistently.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.

Location Address: 4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85019 Work Shift: 12hr - B Shift 7p-7:30a Phoenix (United States of America) Night Shift: 7:00pm – 7:30am Pay Rate: $24.50/hr. (Base Pay Rate) + $1.00 (Shift Premium)

Altium Packaging is one of the largest plastic container companies and suppliers of rigid plastic packaging. We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments. We are currently seeking experienced Machine Technicians in Phoenix, AZ. As a Machine Technician, you will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. Machine Technicians are also responsible for following our company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of entry-level Machine Operator skills and can teach Level 1 Machine Operator skills.
• Demonstrates the adherence to quality control and blow mold process procedures.
• Demonstrates mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.
• Can efficiently change colors without excessive product loss.
• Demonstrates basic Machine Operator skills by maintaining critical processing outputs such as adjusting parisons, tail adjustments, regrind levels, weights controls and other operator required adjustments.
• Run two lines consistently.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience as a machine operator
• 3+ years’ blow mold machine operation required
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
