NWI Aerostructures is seeking a production helper to support machine shop operations by assisting with loading/unloading stock parts and maintaining clean, organized workspaces. You will follow specific instructions and help keep machines and tooling ready for use.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months manufacturing or other experience to prove ability and agility for entry Production.

Responsibilities

• Performs such typical work as helping load and unload stock parts, to and from storage areas or machines such as skin mills, spar mills, or other machine shop equipment as assigned.
• Maintains good housekeeping in assigned area, cleaning machines, work areas and benches by sweeping, scraping, wiping, using air pressure or vacuum.
• Cleans material prior to loading if necessary. Cleans machine beds and work holding equipment.
• Identifies parts as instructed. Assists in removing and changing cutters.
• Loads scrap and chips into provided containers. Supplies tools and cutters as requested to operator, returning same to storage area after use.
• Acts as messenger as required.
• Performs duties incidental to the accomplishment of the assigned task.
• Each employee will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping in his/her work area as directed as well as assuring the accuracy of their work.
