Job summary

Van-Am Tool & Engineering LLC in Missouri seeks an experienced Machine Shop/Tool Room Supervisor to oversee daily operations in an AS9100-certified environment. You will lead machinists, drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and develop staff while ensuring parts meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise CNC and manual machining, coordinate across departments, monitor KPIs, and partner with Engineering, Quality, Scheduling, Maintenance, and Production leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or AS9100-certified environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, blueprint reading, GD&T, ERP systems, and production planning.
• Proven ability to coach employees, solve problems, manage priorities, and improve operations.

• Coordinate production schedules, staffing, machine utilization, and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specs, engineering drawings, GD&T, and internal procedures.

Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking an experienced Machine Shop/Tool Room Supervisor to oversee daily machine shop operations in our AS9100-certified manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee development while ensuring precision machined components consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. What You Will Do
