Job summary

Benoit is seeking a Supervisor-Machine Shop-Ennis in Ennis, TX. You will direct all phases of Pre-Process and Thread Shop operations, ensure production flow, and manage staffing under the Operations Manager. You will also coordinate with maintenance, quality, and HSE to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include shift meetings, training, equipment troubleshooting, and enforcing safety policies. Experience in machining and leadership is required, with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Associate’s or technical degree; or HS diploma with 4+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 2 years machining, pipe threading, or heavy manufacturing; supervisory/leadership exp preferred.
• 3+ years machining/heavy manufacturing; 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Resolves production problems and answers questions about processes, methods, or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Pre-Process and Thread Shop work to optimize manpower and equipment and meet customer delivery.
• Hire, discipline and terminate employees; evaluate personnel for training and advancement.
• Conduct production meetings to maintain production flow and scheduling.
• Train shop floor employees and serve as department master trainer.
• Oversee safety, documentation, and adherence to Benoit policies.
