THE ROLE:

Entegris is currently seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team. This position will be based in our Decatur, TX facility.

This salaried role will plan and direct daily activity of employees and equipment in a 24/7 machining operations. Coordinate with other departments to assure timely and accurate completion of orders. Safely and efficiently ensure customers’ expectations are met regarding quality and on-time delivery.

HOURS:

This position is Monday-Friday day shift with flexibility to work additional hours on other shifts to support a 24/7 operation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide manufacturing leadership to the production team
• Promote a safety culture and address safety concerns
• Implement lean principles for efficient product flow and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production
• Hold production leads accountable and develop their leadership skills
• Organize staff to meet or exceed departmental goals in safety, quality, delivery, cycle-time, and margin
• Adjust work schedules to meet production needs
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production, equipment, and quality
• Analyze and resolve work problems, coach employees, and address issues proactively
• Maintain time and production records
• Ensure employee training on safety, quality, and procedures
• Address and escalate safety, ethical, or operational issues appropriately
• Support larger organizational and production goals

WHAT WE SEEK:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred + 5+ years in manufacturing or equivalent experience
• Leadership ability and commitment to continuous improvement
• High accountability and integrity
• Effective communication skills
• Supervisory/lead experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of machining and blueprint interpretation
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and cellular work centers
• Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• Experience in ISO 9001/AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 environments is a plus
• Ability to comply with U.S. export control laws
