Job summary

Elevate Human Capital in Houston is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to monitor manufacturing processes and ensure products meet contract specifications. You will conduct final inspections for all material leaving the machine shop and assist customers in understanding quality standards.

Responsibilities include using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other gauges daily, inspecting inbound/outbound material, and refining QA procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Able to read and interpret technical product specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, tape measure, height gauge, NPT gauges.
• Inspect inbound and outbound material daily.
• Perform thorough examinations of materials and finished products.
• Implement and improve quality control procedures.
• Participate in routine visual inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document data.
