The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting production parts, ensuring compliance with specifications, and assisting in training new employees.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect production parts from current and previous day according to a daily inspection schedule.
2. Ensure at least one part from each machine is 100% QC inspected per shift.
3. Complete first piece sign off and 100% QC sheet verification.
4. Assist with tool replacement QC sheet verification and tool adjustment SOP.
5. Determine disposition of non-conforming parts.
6. Maintain current calibration schedule for inspection tools.
7. Perform daily random production audits and verify operator QC sheet entries.
8. Work on assigned quality projects.
9. Collect, organize, and store quality data.
10. Assist in training new employees in quality inspection methods.
11. Perform duties of co-workers in machine shop, as needed.

Qualifications

1. Experience in quality inspection is preferred.
2. Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and ensure part compliance.
3. Experience with tool replacement QC sheet verification and tool adjustment SOP.
4. Knowledge of calibration schedules for inspection tools.
5. Ability to perform daily random production audits.
6. Experience in training new employees in quality inspection methods is a plus.
