Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a dependable 2nd shift Production Worker for the machine shop. The role involves loading/unloading parts, deburring, bending, finishing, and handling materials with a focus on quality and safety.

The candidate should be mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity and the ability to follow instructions. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with a 10% shift differential and a strong team-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Load, unload, handle, and move parts and materials in the machine shop.
• Perform deburring, bending, grinding, polishing, and finishing operations.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools per work instructions and specs.
• Meet established specifications and tolerances for produced parts.
• Read and follow production instructions and engineering docs.
• Measure and inspect finished parts for quality.

Watteredge is looking for a dependable, motivated 2nd Shift Production Worker to join our Machine Shop team in Avon Lake, Ohio. This hands-on manufacturing position supports daily production by loading and unloading parts, deburring, bending, finishing, and handling materials.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, handle, and move parts and materials throughout the Machine Shop.
• Perform deburring, bending, grinding, polishing, and other finishing operations.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools according to work instructions, prints, and specifications.
• Produce parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Read and follow production instructions, procedures, and basic engineering documentation.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, machinery, and noise.
