Job summary

WillowWood Global LLC seeks an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead a high‑performance CNC manufacturing operation. You will manage day‑to‑day shop activities, develop employees, and coordinate production schedules while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires strong CNC programming/engineering background, hands‑on leadership, and experience with HAAS, 5‑axis mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and SolidCAM/SolidWorks CAD/CAM tools.

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC machining experience in production/job shop environments.
Deep understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools.
Proven leadership in machine shop settings and SOP/WIs/QMS experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machining.
Familiarity with SolidCAM and SolidWorks; CAD/CAM proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead daily machine shop operations, scheduling, and workflow to maximize utilization.
Develop and maintain standard process routings for efficiency and quality.
Mentor CNC programmers, setup personnel, and operators; provide coaching and development.
Coordinate production schedules with engineering and quality to meet commitments.
Ensure safety, 5S and continuous improvement across the shop.
