- Operate programmable and/or conventional machines & tools such as lathes, milling, glass bead machines, electric hacksaws, band saws, grinders, welders

Machine Shop Manager
Location: Jacksonville, FL - Relocation Assistance could be available
Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (Mon-Fri); OT regularly available
Pay: $110-130k/yr (or more, depending on experience level)
Description
- The Machine Shop Manager will be responsible for rotor and turbine repair as well as supporting the staff of machinists.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Machining (Lathes, Mills)
- Experienced in Rotors and Turbine repaired (Required)
- Comprehensive knowledge of machine shop operating techniques, custom machining methods, and leadership
Job Duties
- Troubleshooting and Repairing rotor and turbines
- Ability to oversee shop operations; assign work to skilled subordinates
- Repair coordination, mentorship and training
- Instruction writing and job scoping
- Operates programmable and/or conventional machines & tools such as lathes, milling & glass bead machines, electric hacksaws, band saws, sanders, drill presses, grinders, Large machining equipment & welders.
