Better Engineering seeks individuals with hands-on skills to build mechanical sub-assemblies and perform basic metal machining for our advanced automated machinery. Located in Joppa, MD, you’ll work a 4x10 hour schedule with occasional Friday overtime and a strong benefits package.

Applicants should have on-the-job experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, and operating a lathe and milling machine. A great work environment and a brand-new building await in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skills with fabrication and assembly.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic metal machining experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical sub-assemblies for our equipment.
• Perform basic metal machining operations.
• Operate a lathe and a milling machine.
• Support a 4x10 hour shift schedule with occasional Friday overtime.
