Job summary

Lydech Thermal Acoustic Solutions (TAS) is seeking a tooling/maintenance associate to ensure safe, timely line changeovers and support for production lines. Responsibilities include die set changes, machine setup after changeovers, and on-shift support for Gripper installs and material adjustments.

3 years maintenance and 1 year manufacturing experience are required, with hydraulic and crane certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily line die sets and tool changes meet production needs.
• Review schedules and requirements for each production line.
• Communicate status with shift leaders on changeover priorities.
• Notify shift lead of unplanned downtime or schedule risks.
• Coordinate line changes/die sets for maximum effectiveness.
• Change out dies and associated components for line changes.
• Set up machines after die changes as needed.
• Support production tasks such as gripper installation, material adjustments, and machine operation.

Job Summary:

Thepurpose of this position is to ensure the safe, timely and efficient change of tooling related components for a manufacturing production line /machine changeover. Position is expected to support production in other wide-ranging areas including but not limited to overall line set up, machine operation, and adjustments throughout the production run.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily line die sets and tool changes are sufficient to meet production requirements.
• Review schedules and requirements for each production line.
• Communicate with prior and incoming Team Leader/Shift Manager on schedule/die set changeover status and known priorities.
• Notifyshift lead of unplanned downtime or risk of not meeting schedule/order requirements.
• Coordinate line changes/die sets at shift start-up and changes for maximum effectiveness.
• Change out dies andassociated components as needed for line/machine changeovers.
• Machine set-up after die change as needed.
• Production support as needed, including but not limited to; Gripper install and adjustment, material adjustment, staging of changeover components, and machine operation.
• Die shop support as needed, including but not limited to; transport and staging of tools to and from die shop, and cleaning of tools.
• Maintain all areas where equipment isbeing maintained to 6S standards.
• Work on other shifts for training purposes upon request.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Must be able to attain and maintain forklift certification
• Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
• Must be able to work extended hours whenrequired
• All other duties as assigned
