Job summary

Reliable Sprinkler Co. in Columbia, PA, is seeking a full-time Machine Setup, Repair and Tooling role in the manufacture sector. The position focuses on setting up, monitoring, and maintaining machines and tooling used on production lines to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will train operators and assist with process improvements. Responsibilities include tool changes, output adjustments, and adherence to work instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend product drawings and equipment specifications.
• Proficient use of measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Grade or select parts using calipers, dial indicators and gaging equipment.
• Apply basic mathematics to relate measurements to tolerances and specs.
• Understand machining processes and tooling changes.
• Complete safety trainings including LOTO and confined spaces as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery to produce parts meeting specifications and output requirements.
• Monitor machine output and adjust as needed for quality and efficiency.
• Change tools to maintain production and meet specs.
• Train production operators, process auditors, and other setup personnel.
• Monitor tool wear and use; report abnormal wear or damage.
• Follow all work instructions and procedures applicable to the job function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
