Job Title: CNC Laser Equipment Operator

Location: Shelbyville, KY

Salary Range: $23.00 to $30.00 hourly

Job Summary:

We are seeking team members interested in a manufacturing career who enjoy setting up and operating equipment to produce quality products. Training will be provided for CNC laser equipment operation, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in setup of machines, tooling, and fixtures.
2. Operate CNC laser equipment, making minor adjustments as needed to meet production goals.
3. Use measuring tools to ensure quality standards.
4. Follow instructions for machine operation and safety guidelines.
5. Produce parts, assist in packing, and perform quality inspections.
6. Complete training in RFC Academy courses including JIT, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Quality, Math, Blueprint Reading, and CNC basics.
7. Utilize manufacturing software for inventory and process documentation.
8. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Work Schedule:

Seeking weekend day and third shift candidates. Training will occur on first shift. Employees may need to relocate closer to Shelbyville, KY as equipment moves to a new facility.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 months related experience or training in CNC, metalworking, or fabrication.
• Computer skills with manufacturing software.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime.
• Willing to relocate to Shelbyville, KY when the new facility opens.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC setup, operation, and quality inspection.
• Strong work history with longevity in previous roles.
