Job summary

Data-Mail, Inc. is seeking a Machine Set-Up Operator in Windsor, CT to support Am & PM shifts. The role covers setup, mechanical troubleshooting, and operation of bindery and inserting machines. The position offers a pathway toward becoming a mechanic with training and promotion opportunities.

Responsibilities include timely machine setup, independent troubleshooting, and maintaining production quality while keeping the work area clean and organized. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of bindery equipment setup, mechanical troubleshooting and operation.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality.
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work station.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup on own machine in a timely manner and inspect prior to setup.
• Operate and troubleshoot own machine and ensure dimensions and quality.
• Complete bindery setups (1up/2up, Interstack, Wrap) and manage mail/labels.
• Maintain neat work area and assist other operators as needed.
• Comply with company rules and bindery procedures and protect confidential data.
