Sheridan is seeking a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with rotating on-call weekends. Pay starts at $23.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential and experience-based increases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.

• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities; fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.

• Wood working projects.

Sheridan is hiring a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on‑call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PMRotating on‑call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)Pay:$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility‑oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock‑Out‑Tag‑Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
