Job summary

Prysmian in Willimantic, CT is seeking a machinist responsible for hands-on fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. You will work from instructions, schematics, manuals, and work orders to produce parts with tight tolerances.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read precision measuring tools, and good English communication. Overtime may be required in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair machine shop equipment and diagnose problems.
• Achieve tool/tolerance specs (±0.0005) on parts.
• Work overtime and collaborate in a production team.
