Job summary

PAC Worldwide is seeking a Machine Packer to feed products from the machine into cartons while meeting safety, quality, and throughput targets. This 1st shift role emphasizes careful handling and adherence to packing diagrams.

Starting pay rate is $16.65 per hour. Paid breaks with weekly pay are offered. A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience are preferred; candidates must read instructions, safety rules, and basic measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of reading work instructions.
• Must be capable of reading safety rules.
• Must be capable of reading a ruler and operating a calculator.
• Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• At least six (6) months of manufacturing work history desired.

Responsibilities

• Pack product off machine per orientation on stacking diagrams.
• Pack product into cartons without deforming the product.
• Ensure the carton quantity is correct, and every carton is labeled appropriately.
• Measure and test product. Identify defects in product and notify operator, making sure to stop machinery when defects are not corrected.
• Maintain a pace that keeps up with machine throughput capabilities.
