Job description

Job Details:

Pay: $16.65/hr

Summary

The qualified candidate will primarily monitor and audit all MX modules, including WB scale, wing tip, mid joint, drumette, FH cutter, breast processor, JLR, and drum/thigh cutter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor bird drops and shackle turn stations for proper operation.
  • Calculate efficiency percentages and communicate results to Control Room and Maintenance.
  • Work with Maintenance to resolve issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Ability to climb ladders and catwalks.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements and Environment
  • Stand/Walk: Continuously (up to 4 hours before first break).
  • Lift/Carry: Continuously (20–50 lbs).
  • Frequent grasping.
  • Work with hot water during cleaning processes.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder.
  • Work environment includes moving machinery, cold, slippery, and damp conditions (28-34°F).
Experience and Rehire Policy
  • Minimum of 6 months of production experience listed on the application.
  • Maximum of two previous Tyson employments considered for rehire with a 90-day waiting period.
