Job summary

PLZ Corp is hiring Machine Operators I, II and III for multiple shifts at our Pacific facility. Depending on your skills and experience, positions are available at Operator I, II, and III levels with starting wages from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Shifts include 5:25a.m.–4:05p.m., 3:55p.m.–2:35a.m., and 3:55a.m.–4:05p.m. on weekends with paid 40 hours for 36 hours. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits begin after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and SOPs.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment.
• Perform quality checks using scales, gauges and other measuring equipment.
• Verify materials and components for each production run.
• Monitor weights and ensure specifications.
• Maintain materials and components for production.
• Assist with line changeovers.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per PLZ 5S standards.
• Communicate material needs to warehouse teams.

PLZ Corp is hiring Machine Operators I, II and III for multiple shifts at our Pacific facility. Whether you are looking to get started in manufacturing or bring previous machine operating experience, we have opportunities based on your skills and experience.

Available Shifts

• Monday through Thursday, 5:25a.m. to 4:05 p.m.
• Monday through Thursday, 3:55 p.m. to 2:35 a.m.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 3:55 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. **Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours!**

Compensation Based on Experience

• Machine Operator I: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
• Machine Operator II: $22.00 to $23.50 per hour
• Machine Operator III: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour

Earn more for working off shifts:

• 2 nd shift includes a $1.00 per hour shift differential
• Weekend night shift includes an additional $5.00 per hour shift differential.

**Your starting rate will be based on experience, skills, and the level of the position.**

What You Will Do

As a Machine Operator, you will help keep our production lines running safely, efficiently and with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities may include:

• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Perform quality checks using scales, gauges and other measuring equipment
• Verify correct materials and components are being used for each production run
• Monitor product weights and ensure they remain within required specifications
• Maintain materials and components needed to keep production running
• Assist with production line changeovers
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized using PLZ 5S standards
• Communicate material needs to warehouse and material handling teams
• Identify and report safety, equipment or quality concerns
• Work with your team to meet production, safety and quality expectations
