Job Description
- Be the main point of contact for Production and Inventory for all CBR and ITR production lines.
- Manage point of use (POU) material replenishment in coordination with Water Spiders and the Uncrating team for all kits, including electrical, mechanical, inter, inductive, cabinets, mechanisms, bushings, center conductors, CTs, galvanizing, and active parts.
- Handle production disturbances (eAndon) related to inventory and coordinate resolutions promptly.
- Collaborate with Kitting and material replenishment teams to meet daily production goals, including managing material transactions.
- Print and organize kitting picklists in SAP for all kitted materials.
- Receive incoming materials with 100% count accuracy, perform SAP Goods Receipt (GR), and ensure proper putaway both physically and in SAP.
- Coordinate problem PO/delivery confirmations with the purchasing team.
- Complete Material Request Forms based on production demand.
- Address and resolve part issues from production.
- Communicate work order changes to inventory personnel.
- Participate in production meetings, end-of-shift meetings, and Genba walks as needed to align inventory with production needs.
- Ensure all direct labor timesheets are completed accurately.
- Train inventory team members on inventory processes.
Qualifications / Requirements
- High reliability and adaptability.
- Flexibility to work weekends when required by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating winding machines for electrical components or instrument transformers.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and optimize production processes.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, especially with winding machines or similar equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Familiarity with basic electrical testing tools such as multimeters.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude for minor repairs and adjustments.
- Good communication skills and team collaboration.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production monitoring.
