Job summary

Dalmine SPA in Brookfield, OH is seeking a Machine Operator - Weigh, Measure, Stencil on 2nd Shift. You will operate weighing, measuring, and stenciling machines to produce pipes accurately, inspect outputs, and ensure safe, compliant performance in a busy automated facility.

You will handle changeovers, set up tools and consumables, track orders, update records, perform pipe painting and labeling, and assist with maintenance and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates weighing, measuring, and stenciling machines for pipes.
• Performs changeovers and setup, and maintains machine readiness (paint, dies).
• Monitors manufacturing orders and updates tracking systems.
• Manages remaining material and ensures order compliance.
• Performs pipe painting, labeling, and varnishing as required.
• Assists with safety procedures, lockouts, and calibration tasks.

Machine Operator - Weigh, Measure, Stencil

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Purpose

Performs the operation of weighting, measuring, stenciling and inspecting pipes in automated facilities and performs final management of pipes and orders, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Activities

• Executes change over and set up of the machine.
• Changes machine tools and consumables ensuring their availability (paint, dies).
• Performs stenciling machine operation.
• Follows up manufacturing orders and notifies when missing.
• Manages remaining material.
• Follows up manufacturing orders compliance.
• Reassigns pipes to manufacturing orders.
• Performs the operation of pipe band painting.
• Places end protectors on pipes.
• Weights pipes and registers obtained values.
• Carries out and controls pipe varnishing.
• Administrates identification labels.
• Executes steel identification with spectrometer.
• Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (painting nozzles, scale calibration, etc).
• Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed High School or 5 years of experience in the company or entry level exam approved.
