New Flyer is looking for a dedicated Machine Operator for our Weekend Shift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the operation of manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality components while ensuring production targets are met. Your skills and commitment will contribute significantly to our continuous improvement initiatives and overall operational excellence. Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Competitive pay rates!

• Efficiently operate and monitor various types of machinery to produce components.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of machined parts and address any deviations immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of production volume and quality metrics.
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a machine operator or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, and machine specifications.
• Skill in operating and troubleshooting machinery.
• Strong awareness of safety practices and quality control measures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work a weekend shift and a strong team-oriented attitude.
