Role purpose
Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, assembly, and other steps along a production line.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operating Machine or Equipment: Operate semi-complex equipment and machines, prioritizing routine tasks to improve efficiency and adjusting multiple related variables to resolve production problems.
  2. Operations Management: Carry out operational tasks by following established processes, adjusting settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
  3. Equipment Changeover: Follow detailed instructions to changeover equipment under close supervision.
  4. Equipment Total Productive Maintenance: Perform TPM checks and activities as instructed.
  5. Quality: Conduct simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
  6. Health, Safety and Environment: Follow mandatory procedures, including using personal protective equipment, to safeguard health and environment.
  7. Operational Compliance: Ensure work complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  8. Work Scheduling and Allocation: Organize daily work schedule based on priorities.
  9. Personal Capability Building: Support improvements and simple change management tasks.
