Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. seeks a Machine Operator for an urgent 4-month contract in Woburn, MA. The role starts at 6:00 AM and runs until 2:30 PM, totaling 40 hours weekly.

The position requires GMP knowledge and experience in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating sealers, ovens, testing equipment, packaging devices, and maintaining compliance with device history records and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Must comprehend work instructions written in English.
• 1+ years of experience working in a medical device/electronics assembly/packaging environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate sealers, drying ovens, and test equipment used in the Avitene cleanroom.
• Operate label maker machine(s), load sterilizer racks.
• Assemble, inspect, and package devices per relevant operating procedures
• Know and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory/procedural requirements at all times
• Complete all relevant Device History Records (DHR) as required, complying with Quality System requirements
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize rooms and equipment as required
• Train others on work instructions when required
• Perform duties in controlled environments as required
• Maintain a good attendance and on-time record as outlined in the Attendance Guidelines for our facility
• The ability to work overtime
• Operate the Pack-West and Kalix equipment as required.
• Assist in the implementation of lean thinking programs throughout manufacturing
• The ability to work overtime
• Perform other related duties as required

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with the manufacturing process (clean room and finished goods manufacturing).

Essential Job Functions

• Listed below are the essential job functions for the primary responsibilities that a Packaging Operator I working on the Avitene product line will perform, however, at any time manufacturing demands may require the Operator to work on a different product line which would require him/her to perform any or all of the listed additional job functions.
• Operate sealers, drying ovens, and test equipment used in the Avitene cleanroom.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to sit, stand, move, twist and bend to operate, move and clean equipment and clean room(s)
