Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Woburn, MA seeks a Packaging Operator for a 12-month contract on W2. You will manually inspect, label and package clinical and commercial products while adhering to procedures and quality specs. The role requires 40 hours/week on 1st shift with overtime as needed.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM; a background check must be cleared prior to start. May occasionally handle hazardous waste (ethanol); no drug screen is required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand documentation; follow procedures and quality specifications.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Must fully clear background check before starting (no exceptions).

Responsibilities

• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy customer, internal, clinical, and other demand
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality; remove defective products and packaging materials
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts
• Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist in completion of batch records
• Assist with inventory counting activities as required
• Participate in safety audits and engage in daily safety discussions/observations
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment
• Abide by all PPE and product contamination control (gowning) requirements
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate (e.g., 200 proof ethanol, rare occurrence for this role)
• Follow procedures and quality specifications; read and understand documentation
