Job Title: Machine Operator Trainee

Job Location: Utica, Michigan

Job Schedule: Training for 3 to 6 months: 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon - Thu, Fri & Sat as needed. After training: 3:15 PM to 1:15 AM, Mon - Thu, Fri & Sat as needed.

About The Role Of Machine Operator Trainee

The Header and/or Roller Trainee is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to learn and qualify as Cold Header or Thread Roller Operators. The program combines classroom learning with hands-on training and mentorship. No prior experience is necessary; a desire to learn and succeed is essential.

Responsibilities Of a Machine Operator Trainee

1. Commit to consistent attendance and active participation in training.
2. Engage fully in classroom and on-the-job training sessions.
3. Develop proficiency with measurement tools like calipers and micrometers for quality checks.
4. Learn to set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment, including headers and rollers.
5. Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and specifications accurately.
6. Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
7. Acquire basic welding skills, including wire welding techniques.
8. Participate in 5S housekeeping practices to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
