Do you have experience working in Automation, Blow/Blown Film Operator, Extrusion Operator, Thermoforming Operator, Slitter Operator and/or Plastics Machine Operator? If so, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

Machine Operator, HIRING IMMEDIATELY, Bridgeview IL

Machine Operator available Night shifts: 7PM- 7AM

Compensation:

• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases

Responsibilities

As a Thermoforming Machine Operator you will:

• Safely and effectively operate thermoforming equipment to produce quality product
• Troubleshoot line issues with minimal assistance
• Maintain run efficiencies for the line and product type
• Ensure quality of products on line and complete all necessary paperwork associated with running the line in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in production start-ups and shutdowns
• Train future technicians in both technical duties and good working practices
• Communicate daily with shift management to target problem areas and devise action plans
• Follow all Company established rules and policies
• Adhere to all Safety rules and regulations
• Ensure housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean and tidy

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Plastics Extrusion experience, Thermoforming preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential
• Ability to work independently as well as with others effectively as part of a team is essential
• Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed
