General Description:

Competency with operation and general maintenance for machines such as Amada, Salvagnini, Bridgeport CNC, and other automated technologies as needed.

Flexibility to work in various work centers including manual machines, assembly line, subassembly work centers, and packaging.

Essential Functions:

1. Select items via the Amada and Salvagnini system programs as appropriate.
2. Work with Engineering or OEM vendors to adjust programs as needed.
3. Verify that the program is up to date with the latest drawing revision before running the first part and notify the supervisor of any discrepancies.
4. Load raw materials into the laser machine using a forklift.
5. Ensure product integrity by comparing it to drawings.
6. Notify supervisor or quality control if the product does not meet standards.
7. Unload processed parts and dispose of scrap according to company guidelines.
8. Work in various work centers as needed.
9. Assemble, wire, and install components following instructions, diagrams, and verbal notes.
10. Utilize tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and rivet guns.
11. Read and follow assembly instructions, drawings, and schematics.
12. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized factory environment.
13. Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Amada and Salvagnini machines.
• At least 1 year of experience with press brakes, shears, and punch presses.
• Experience working on assembly lines.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
