Job summary

TURBOCAM International is seeking a CNC Operator in Barrington, NH. You will set up, operate, and align lathe, mill, and balance machines to maintain high tolerances in prototyping and production.

The role offers starting pay of $21.00/hr with a 2nd shift differential of 15% ($24.15/hr) and 3rd shift differential of 22% ($25.62/hr). Candidates with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with manufacturing or CNC is a plus.
  • Thoroughness and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and align CNC machines to tight tolerances.
  • Document operations and inspections per Quality Manual.
  • Troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Work from drawings, process sheets, or instructions to machine parts.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on machines.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Description

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for setting up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts. We offer starting pay of $21.00/hr, with a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift, bringing pay to $24.15/hr and a 22% shift differential for 3rd shift, bringing pay to $25.62/hr!

  • Perform set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.
  • Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.
  • Recognize deviations in proper machine performance; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
  • Work from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.
  • Perform other duties as required based on assignment.
Bring Your Expertise
  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • If you have experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines, GREAT! But if not, you have a can-do attitude, serious ownership, and a thirst for learning
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills will go a long way. You must be thorough and able to follow instructions carefully
  • You embrace creativity, but are always looking to understand the how and why first
  • You value teamwork and have good interpersonal communication and organization skills. You keep it professional, but can also have a good laugh
  • You have a high level of integrity and want to make a difference
  • This position does require occasional lifting, carrying of 25-50 pounds or more and standing for extended periods of time. This role involved moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
