Job summary

QP Manufacturing LLC in Newbury, Ohio is seeking skilled Machine Operators for 1st shift to produce high-precision components using turning, milling and multi-axis mill turning.

You will follow SOPs, perform tool offsets, inspect parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Training is provided; prior experience is a plus but not required. Competitive benefits and 3% retirement match are offered.

Position Overview:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machines to produce high-quality parts, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the overall function of machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing company while advancing your own career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines (turning, milling, multi-axis mill turning) to produce precision components.
• Perform minor tool offsets and material loading as required.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine area, ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
• Ensure that all operations are performed safely, following standard operating procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some Manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work on-site

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime may be available depending on production demands.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation to the Newbury, Ohio location.
