Apex Tool Group, LLC is seeking a Machinist - Stamping Operations to join our Dayton, Ohio Operations Team. The role focuses on operating stamping equipment, ensuring quality parts, meeting productivity targets, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Operate stamping equipment in area to produce quality parts, while meeting productivity targets set by the company.
• Perform process adjustments as required.
• Read and interpret engineering product drawings.
• Complete required quality and production documentation.
• Use required inspection methods.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow plant safety rules and policies.
• May perform other duties as required by the department.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• High regard for safety.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continually stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (overhead reaching), push or pull and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
