Bay Insulation Systems of Connecticut is seeking a Machine Operator to help maintain safe, efficient laminating operations for fiberglass insulation products.

You will set up laminators and band saws, follow work instructions, record production data, and assist with inventory control and shipping readiness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to read instructions; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate laminators and band saws in a safe, efficient manner.
• Perform daily safety inspections and maintain safety checklists.
• Set up machines including alignment, glue/tape application and speed adjustments.
• Maintain production records and inventory accuracy.
• Support loading/unloading of materials and prepare shipments.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of raw and finished goods.
