The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing, and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte, NC. This facility employs over 400 full-time associates in a 5-shift operation, covering 235,000 sq ft. with 12,000 SKUs. Besides conversion, customizing, and packaging, abrasives are now a significant part of our power tool accessory business. Our associates engage in BPS, CIP, and 5S initiatives. Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of the sandpaper punching machine to support the production process.
• Gain and maintain general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area.
• Complete required training measures (PQ&T) as needed.
• Maintain appropriate process systems, 6S, and production standards.
• Follow safety procedures and promote a positive work environment.
• Assist others in the department as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and adaptable.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask and stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school required.
• Preferred experience in machine operation.

Additional Responsibilities

• Load rolls of sandpaper onto machines as needed.
• Use SAP to look up materials.
• Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist.
• Assist in setting up and starting machines.
• Make adjustments and troubleshoot machine issues, assisting with repairs as per escalation plans.
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and tool organization.
• Adhere to all safety procedures related to machine operation.
