We may offer relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We are hiring immediately at our state-of-the-art Plano, TX facility.
A Bit About The Role
Our work schedule consists of four different shifts with 12-hour shifts, working 3-4 days per week:
- 2nd Shift: Mon – Wed (+Thurs during peak season), 5pm – 5am (+$1/hr. shift diff.)
- 3rd Shift: Fri – Sun (+Thurs during peak season), 5am – 5pm (+$1/hr. shift diff.)
- 4th Shift: Fri – Sun (+Thurs during peak season), 5pm – 5am (+$2/hr. shift diff.)
What You’ll Do Here
- Operate and maintain advanced equipment such as digital presses, bindery equipment, HP Indigo, Xerox iGen, Epson, Lasermax, UV Coaters, and more.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting to ensure high quality and optimal equipment performance.
- Identify and address issues proactively, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical support, perform pit stops, and conduct preventative maintenance independently.
- Mentor and train other machine operators to improve team skills.
- Escalate critical issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Operate additional production equipment and fill in for Lead Operators as needed.
- Participate in the Safety Committee to promote safety standards.
- Develop operational procedures to optimize equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety and OSHA standards, maintaining confidentiality and security policies.
The Skills You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience operating high-speed machinery in high-volume manufacturing.
- Knowledge of digital printing, bindery processes, and machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues quickly.
- Understanding of pneumatics, mechanical systems, PLC, electronics, and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks.
- Preferred: experience with bindery and digital press equipment, including HP Indigo.
