JobSource is hiring a machine operator (slitter) for one of our companies that provides high-quality shrink sleeves and flexible packaging located in the City of Valencia, CA.

Job Summary:

The Slitter Operator is responsible for operating machinery. This role requires forklift experience in Sit Down and Stand Up models, along with strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and set up the machine, including loading the master roll onto the machine, which will be cut to the required size.
2. Use of Forklift: Sit Down and Stand Up models.
3. Pallet Jack Usage: Operate pallet jack as needed.
4. Data Entry: Use the system for data entry.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform inspections and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in English or Spanish.
• Forklift certification and experience.

Compensation and Schedule:

Pay: $19.00/hour

First shift, starting at 7:00 or 7:30 am, 8-hour shifts, with overtime as needed.

Monday to Friday.
