The Role: Under limited supervision, operatesfabricating machines, such as cutoff saws, rolls, brakes, presses, formingmachines, and punch machines that cut, shape, and bend metal plates andsheets. Lays out, fabricates, assemblesproducts, utilizing knowledge of working characteristics of metallic andnonmetallic materials, machining, and layout techniques, using hand tools,power tools, machines, and equipment.
